Hello everyone!

Hi Helen ◡̈
Hi Jodi! We hope you are finding the course helpful for exam preparation!
Helen
Hello! I was wondering if you happen to have a good way of remembering myelomeningocele levels
Hi Vinitha,
Unfortunately, there is some memorization required for this concept. I prefer tables as I have a very visual memory. Be sure to know your basic neuroanatomy for the spinal level innervations. Some therapists focus on the common functional expectations for each level, which helps them associate which muscles would be required to perform those functional skills. I think it’s good to look at the levels in ore than one way.

Does anyone have any tricks for memorizing normal lab values? I tend to memorize best by writing so am just writing them over and over….and over….and over. Didn’t know if there were any other tricks for those of us who aren’t in acute care and don’t see them much.
Sue
Hi Sue,
I like to organize by writing as well, especially in tables/charts. I focus on the normal ranges and then try to remember the groups around that normal range. It would be great to hear what others’ do as well.

Will we have access to these threads after the live session to read through responses?
Yes, you’ll be able to review everything. Previous years’ chats are also viewable in case checking out past conversations could help in your studying.
For case based questions, will we have access to the case and be able to answer/go back to any questions pertaining to that case? Or will it be more like the PCS Advantage Case Based Exam where there were some questions that you could not go back to after you have answered?
For case-based questions, you generally cannot go back to change previous answers because new information often answers preceding questions.
