Hi, I have a question on the scoring for the INSCI practice #9. Want to make sure I am understanding ZPP and the new rules correctly. The ZPP is T8 on the R and T9 on the L because that is the assumed motor level based on sensory innervation since there is no testable myotomes there and the testable levels above are 5/5. We can have a motor ZPP in this case because there is absent voluntary anal contraction. Let’s say there was absent deep anal pressure in this same case, would the sensory ZPP be T12 since that is the lowest level with some sensation spared? Thank you!
Hi Emily! ISNCSCI case 8 is actually the scenario you’re asking about (the same presentation with absent DAP) – and you are correct, the sensory ZPP would be T12.
