I’m feeling overwhelmed with the number of CPGs. The only ones on the Peds section website include 3-D gait analysis for children with CP, DCD, CMT and Concussion/Mild TBI. Other CPGs on the APTA site include hemophilia, JIA, scoliosis screening, autism, muscular dystrophy, and a significant number of ortho and sports conditions management. Would you recommended focusing on the APTA Peds specific CPGs or all of them? I glanced at the CPG quiz and noticed citation of sources outside of the APTA CPGs including Cincinnati Children’s management of conditions and other articles that were not included on the “recommended reading list.” Just feeling a bit overwhelmed with the breadth of source material outside of Campbell, Fact Sheets, and the PCS study guides. Thanks!

It is our understanding that the exam will focus on the CPGs on the APPT website. We focused practice questions on those CPGs. However, the reality is that any pediatric condition CPG could be fair game. The great thing about the CPGs is that you can cover the key areas in the summary statements, without having to review all of the referenced articles.
