Hi Allison, thanks for the questions! After consulting some students who took the exam within the past 2-3 years the general consensus is that memorizing specific lab values is not a priority for studying (and hence, specific lab values are not included in the study guides). Time would be better spent understanding what lab values mean and how that impacts geriatric care. For example, instead of memorizing what a normal hemoglobin level is, spend time understanding the impacts of a high or low lab value on patient care in an older adult. Hope this helps!
